In case of emergency
In case of life threatening emergencies call the emergency rescue service number 112 . (Callcenter of the emergency rescue service (German: Rettungsdienst) and the fire brigade/fire departement (German: Feuerwehr))! When to call 112 (This list makes no claim to completeness): Major accident or trauma; Severe breathlessness; Severe bleeding; Loss of consciousness; Severe chest pain and more… It is not always easy to tell mild from severe symptoms. If you are not sure about your symptoms, please go ahead call 112.

In case of poisoning call 19222 or poison control centre in Mainz at 06131 – 19240
During weekends and nights call the medical stand-by duty (Ärztlicher Bereitschaftsdienst in Schwetzingen, Bodelschwingstr 10) at 116117
Go tothe doctor-symptoms
Must see the doctor symptoms are: Sudden change in eyesight, problems of speach or movement – Sudden extrem headaches – Unexplained weight loss – Lumps in the breast – Vaginal bleeding after the menopause – change in bowel habits – Feeling stuffed without eating to much (over some days or weeks) – Persistant cough for more than 4 weeks or blood-expectorating cough – Sadness, depression or lost of interest over weeks – Continuous fever over 38° C = 100.4°F that lasts more than a week (in case of high fever over 39,5° C = 103.1° F go the same day to a physician) (This symptoms are a collection which where issued by the Mayo Clinic in 2009)
Individual services
Please be advised, even if you have an common health insurance in Germany not every possible offer will be covered by that insurance. Some offers you must pay by yourself. It concerns diagnostic or therapeutic procedures or attests, which are possible but not necessary. In that cases our team will tell and ask you for your agreement before.
Our team
Appointments
Our practice opens at 8am from Monday – Friday. In order to avoid long patient waiting we ask you to book an appointment in advance. In cases of emergency you can also contact the doctor outside the opening hours by phone. You should then call the practice at 06227 – 59690 and you will be given instructions on what to do next.
Home visits
Sometimes however, there may be occasions patients are unable to attend the practice because they are too ill or housebound. For this reason we offer home visits. Besides, we also collaborate with the local nursing services and look after our patients at the Caritas care home of St. Leon-Rot.
